  Vaio’s are terrible computers. Mine has been incredibly slow since I bought it and now my hard drive stopped working properly and I can’t turn it on. When I went to the Sony website for help they told me it would cost $280 to fix. Outrageous. I had an HP for five years with no problems, Vaio’s are garbage, don’t waste your money.

  This is a very nice computer and it works perfectly. Very easy to use and keep updated and get support. I am very satisfied. It also looks great on the photos and once you have it in front of you, it does look great, not just on the photos.

  Pros:
  * Super stylish number with very nice LEDs and a sexy pink color
  * Powerful specifications (Intel Core 2 Duo, 250 GB hard drive, DVD writer)
  * Fast graphics and wireless connectivity
  * Ample USB ports, Firewire
  * Solid software because it has 64-bit Windows Vista Home Premium with SP1

  Cons:
  * Not all might like the pink color
  * Typing on keyboard gives some noise (not very silent)
  * A lot of bloatware – you might want to remove them

  I bought one Sony Vaio VGN-CS115D on OCT 2008 and after four months of use it started to make a noise that became worst and worst. Now I am having a problem with the cooler fan and I have to buy one new, because I am not on Canada and how is difficult to find the spare fan. I called Sony phone and lost a lot of time until I got the wright sector. Now I am waiting the new cooler fan as it is supposed to arrive just on 3 weeks.
  After 1 week of waiting the coolerfan arrived, it was exactly the spare part I needed, so the problem was solved.
  Bu I will keep my classification because it is a mechanical problem that happened in lass than 1 year.

  I disagree with the comment about Vista. I bought the camera, hooked it right up to my ACER laptop (running Vista), loaded the software, and it worked right off the bat. It seemed to work fine, LEDs and all.

  I bought this cam about a year ago. It has worked decently for me on any OS I have used it on, Linux, XP, and Vista. The IR leds only turn on when you turn off the lights, which makes sense to me as it is IR. The video quality itself is decent, there is minor blur in the actual feed, doesn’t do well with motion though.
  The real deal breaker for me was that the colors weren’t accurate at all. Burgundy comes up as baby blue for example.

  THis camera sucks if you have vista. It decides that the driver is a viris and it doesn’t work. I hate it.

  Please do not buy, it is waste of money. I bought it and it refuse to work, just blur.

  I purchased this camera from an electronics store while I was oversees. It works as advertised but avoid the crappy software that comes with it. Skype worked great with it, although the LEDs never really worked when they were supposed to. Bottom line, my friends and family were able to see me! I used a headset to talk as webcam mics tend to not work as well as I would hope.

  This laptop riser works great on a tabletop, but is not comfortable to use on your lap.

  Keying at the proper angle really makes it easier to work on a laptop. Unfortunately this product raised the laptop too high to really justify the correct angle it provides. Only buy this product if you can raise your chair or lower your desk.

  I have had this stand for about a year now. The height and adjustability are perfect. But the plastic material is flimsy, and it didn’t take long for the little plastic pieces in the back that hold the stand in its desired position to break. So I’ve been using it with major tape slapped across the back of the stand to keep it from collapsing (which it still periodically does). I am now shopping for a new stand, one preferably made of aluminum.

  this item serves it’s purpose. It doesn’t function well in the higher position because the laptop screen tends to lean forward.

  It’s overpriced for a large, unstable piece of plastic that feels like it will break any minute. My laptop wobbles on the second to lowest height. Will be returning it to buy a second book stand that holds my laptop better than this.

  I wanted, I found, I bought…. I own… I am happy. It’s everything I could ask it to be. Don’t expect to save your laptop from being thrown round or sat on or dropped with this thing though… it’s just a nice case to keep your lappy cozy. I throw mines in my book bag alot, and with all the other junk it my book bag, i was afraid of getting scratches on my lappy… but hurraayy for Sony! I shall fear no more! It even matches my Viao!

  This is not as much a carrying case as it is a protective case/cushion. We bought one for our son’s 14″ VAIO a few months ago because, at the age of 12, he doesn’t feel like carrying a business-like bag with him when he takes his laptop along to friends’.

  This case WILL protect a laptop carried inside a larger container such as a backpack or some larger piece of luggage where it will protect the laptop from being scratched or soiled. However, it is not a good solution to carrying the laptop around because it lacks a handle or a shoulder strap and provides no room for the AC adapter or any other accessories.

  For what we paid and for what we use it, it’s okay but I’d recommend a more traditional carrying case for anyone commuting with the laptop daily.
